On March 28, 2023, faculty and staff gathered to officially "ring-in" the latest campus bell: one that will be placed within the Immaculate Conception Chapel Bell Tower when renovations are complete this August.

Donation from 1889 Foundation supports the Dolly Parton Imagination Library

The 1889 Foundation recently awarded $25,000 to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û in support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The program makes books available to children in Cambria County from birth to age five and is entirely free for families regardless of income.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û has been awarded a $1 million grant by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to launch an Aviation Maintenance Technician School. The new Aviation Maintenance Technician School will be sited at the John Murtha Johnstown Cambria County Airport and will offer a 14 CFR 147-certified training curriculum for Aviation Maintenance Technicians.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û has received a $1.25 million commitment towards the expansion of the University's Center for Fine Arts . The gift comes from an alumnus who is passionate about enhancing fine arts education and specifically the construction of the Resinski Black Box Theatre.
