Soft Launch of Earth to Moon Exhibit

A group of students from St. Michaels School were the first to experience the NASA-funded Space Sciences and Engineering Mobile Interactive Exhibit for Rural Areas: Earth to Moon exhibit during a soft opening on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Receives $1 Million Dollar ARC POWER Grant for Aviation Maintenance Technician School

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û has been awarded a $1 million grant by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to launch an Aviation Maintenance Technician School. The new Aviation Maintenance Technician School will be sited at the John Murtha Johnstown Cambria County Airport and will offer a 14 CFR 147-certified training curriculum for Aviation Maintenance Technicians.

Spotlight on Nathan Lamb: summer engineering internship at General Dynamics Electric Boat

STUDENT SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: Over the summer, General Engineering student Nathan Lamb worked at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Connecticut. During his internship he supported construction of missile tubes for the Columbia Class submarines, and reviewed and created technical documents to ensure the proper configuration management of missile tubes.
