The Occupational Therapy program at ������ϲʿ������ has recently been accepted by the American Occupational Therapy Association as a Gold Level member of the AOTA’s Student Membership Circle.

Alexis Bradfield is an exercise physiologist working at a hospital in Aspen, CO. While her primary focus is cardiac rehabilitation, the hospital has also begun an exercise oncology rehabilitation service. Lexi is one of the exercise physiologists who treat individuals living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis.

The university unveiled its new anatomy lab which combines the university's traditional cadaver lab with a high-tech simulation space within the Experiential Learning Commons.

It was graduation night this past Tuesday for three of our four-legged students! Belle, Vickey and Midnight graduated from ������ϲʿ������ this past Tuesday.

The OT and PT departments collaborated this year to host the annual Neuro Wellness Clinics. In these clinics students work with clients who have suffered various neurological events such as traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, and stroke.

The 1889 Foundation recently awarded $25,000 to ������ϲʿ������ in support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The program makes books available to children in Cambria County from birth to age five and is entirely free for families regardless of income.

In the year since the program started in Cambria County, the university has placed 12,640 books into the hands of 1,686 children.

Healthcare professionals from 12 counties attended “An Interprofessional Interactive Gross Dissection Laboratory Experience: From the Forearm to the Digits,” a free professional development seminar held at ������ϲʿ������ on July 18 and 19.
