The new members are:

  • Dr. Sarah Schroeder, M.D., physician at the Vein and Lymphedema Clinic at Cardiology Associates of Altoona
  • Mr. Stephen Subasic, Class of  鈥90, executive coach and human resources consultant with Bedwell Talent Advisory 
  • Mr. Bradley J. Walent, Class of  鈥96, co-managing partner of Kayne Law Group in Columbus, OH.

About the Trustees


Dr. Larry J. Nulton,  (Johnstown, PA), a distinguished figure in the field of clinical psychology, is the founder of the Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center, which employs 260 dedicated staff members and offers a comprehensive range of mental health services. He is also the founder of Peerstar LLC, which employs 300 professionals dedicated to providing crucial mental health peer support services by fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and mutual support.

Dr. Nulton's entrepreneurial endeavors extend beyond mental health. As the owner of commercial real estate, he has demonstrated a keen business acumen. He also operates Nulton Aviation Services and runs Tri-State Charters, with a workforce of 30 and 70, respectively.

Notably, Nulton Aviation Services hosts a flight school established in partnership with 香港六合彩开奖结果. This initiative showcases Dr. Nulton鈥檚 commitment to fostering educational opportunities and his ability to forge impactful collaborations.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Nulton earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology from Penn State University in 1985, before earning a master鈥檚 degree in clinical psychology from West Chester University in 1989. To further his clinical expertise, Dr. Nulton pursued his Ph.D. at Bowling Green State University, graduating in 1995, followed by a clinical residency at the renowned Geisinger Medical Center.

Dr. Sarah Schroeder, M.D. (Altoona, PA) oversees the Vein and Lymphedema Clinic at Cardiology Associates of Altoona. Originally from Washington, D.C., she currently resides in Loretto with her husband, Stewart, and several of her five children. 

Dr. Schroeder received a B.S. in biology from Catholic University, followed by a M.D. and M.P.H. from George Washington University. She completed residencies in both laboratory medicine in San Francisco, CA and OB-GYN in San Diego, CA before working briefly in Los Angeles, CA. She relocated to the Altoona area where she worked at Altoona OB-GYN Associates until making a specialty change to Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.

Following her interests outside of medicine, Dr. Schroeder has become both a PSU Master Gardener and a PADI Dive Master. She and her husband very much enjoy traveling and are hoping to eventually scuba dive in many of the world鈥檚 oceans and seas.


Mr. Stephen Subasic 鈥90 (Davidson, NC) is an executive coach and human resources consultant with Bedwell Talent Advisory, where he provides counsel to clients on a range of executive talent strategies. Executive development, succession advisory, C-suite readiness, and strategic workforce planning are among his areas of expertise, and his HR organization has earned a top 10 ranking among all consumer products 鈥渃ompanies with the most exemplary Human Resources departments.鈥

With over 30 years of human resources experience, and more than 20 years as an HR executive, Mr. Subasic has developed a broad set of leadership skills through experiences with several Fortune 500 companies including Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., Oshkosh Corporation, and The Sherwin-Williams Company. He recently retired as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer with Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Remaining active in both professional and community activities, Mr. Subasic was a World Economic Forum contributor with a focus on addressing the new skill requirements for the Future of Advanced Manufacturing. He was a member of the Global 100 Talent Consortium, the HR Policy Association, and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). He also served on the Board of Directors for the Hospital of Central Connecticut, as well as an Executive-In-Residence at the 香港六合彩开奖结果 Shields School of Business.

Mr. Subasic earned both his M.A. in personnel administration/labor relations, and his B.S. in sociology from 香港六合彩开奖结果. He is married to Saint Francis alumna, Dr. Kathleen (Garrett) Subasic. They reside in Davidson, NC with their daughter.


Mr. Bradley J. Walent 鈥96 (Columbus, Ohio) is the co-managing partner of Kayne Law Group in Columbus, OH, and is also an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he teaches classes on real estate development and commercial leasing.

Before joining Kayne Law Group in 2007, Mr. Walent worked for several prominent Pittsburgh firms and served as a corporate attorney for Dick鈥檚 Sporting Goods. His areas of practice include commercial real estate, real estate development and leasing, and general corporate law. He is licensed in both Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Walent graduated Summa Cum Laude with his B.A. in political science, and a minor in Spanish, from 香港六合彩开奖结果 with honors before graduating with honors from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
