This past athletic season has been deemed historic at ������ϲʿ������. For the first time in Red Flash history, all five Fall teams competed in Northeast Conference (NEC) postseason play after their respective 2022 season with one team clinching an NEC championship title.

������ϲʿ������ has been awarded a $1 million grant by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to launch an Aviation Maintenance Technician School. The new Aviation Maintenance Technician School will be sited at the John Murtha Johnstown Cambria County Airport and will offer a 14 CFR 147-certified training curriculum for Aviation Maintenance Technicians.

In its annual list, Forbes ranked colleges and universities in the U.S. based on the return on investment and outcomes top schools delivered for their students. Washington Monthly recently released its annual 2022 College Guide with ������ϲʿ������ landing on three distinction lists: #23 Best Bang for the Buck in the Northeast #19 Top 200 Master's Universities Best Colleges for Student Voting Honor Roll Since 2005, the Washington Monthly has ranked colleges based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service.

������ϲʿ������ has once again made the prestigious cut as one of the “Best Regional Universities" in the North and this time around, the university holds a new recognition, “Top Performer in Social Mobility,” from the nationally known college ranking publication.

The Saint Francis softball team won its fourth-consecutive NEC Tournament Championship with a 12-4 win in five innings against LIU (27-8, 25-7 NEC) on Saturday. The win earned the Red Flash earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament Regional. The team (40-8, 22-2 NEC) was selected to travel to No. 12 Texas (39-11, 12-6 Big 12) This will be Saint Francis' fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament, previously traveling to Arizona in 2017 and 2018 and Michigan in 2019.

������ϲʿ������ is proud to announce its 2020-2021 Intrepid Research Grant Award recipients. Congratulations to Oliva Coll Nazarak, Kei-shon Graham, and Scott Riner. For over a decade, $1,000 competitive grants are award annually to students proposing significant academic, creative, or service projects that are firmly grounded in the humanities. The grants are made possible through the generous donations of ������ϲʿ������ alumni who wish to support interdisciplinary student research, creative or service projects.
