Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û's Rural Education Alliance for Leadership (REAL) Institute invited Dr. Richard Ingersoll, a leading national expert on America’s elementary and secondary teaching force, to address a crowd more than 70 educational leaders on Nov. 16, 2023.

The U.S. National Science Foundation announced a $399,727 award to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û as part of its first-ever Enabling Partnerships to Increase Innovation Capacity (EPIIC) grant program. The agency is investing $19.6 million to help nearly 50 emerging research institutions grow their capacity to participate in and drive regional innovation.

Altoona workshop series set for business leaders and managers Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Shields School of Business & The Francis in the Marketplace Employee Training and Development Institute present the Fall 2023/Winter 2024 Leadership Development Series.   The series consists of four high energy leadership workshops aimed at fueling employee engagement, unleashing workplace productivity, and enabling organizations to attract and retain the best employees. On May 5, 2023, Dr. Peter Skoner accepted the PA Cyber Polytechnic Academy, Partner of the Year Award for Higher Education, at the Curry Innovation Center.

A grant from the FirstEnergy Foundation will allow Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û to offer professional development opportunities for middle and high school science teachers with enhanced learning opportunities for their students at no cost.
