Biography
Mrs. Parkins joined the nursing faculty on August 3, 2020. Mrs. Parkins is responsible for teaching Undergraduate courses including Care of Childbearing Families that focuses on theory and clinical practice related to the care of child bearing families, Introduction to Nursing, and assisting with Nursing Assessment lab. Mrs. Parkins is also responsible for teaching MSN courses that focus on women's health and reproduction.
Mrs. Parkins background in pediatric nursing, home health nursing, OB/GYN nursing, and women's health nurse practitioner provided a solid foundation for teaching these courses.
